What iconic object of industrial design are you?

Inspired by Tillerman's post on personality analysis based on blog entries, here's another personality test linked to a PBS documentary on industrial design. I liked it because I'm interested in the theme, liked the object it chose, and I think the assessment was pretty accurate. Plus, it's a quiz you can do without having to give a Facebook app access to all your information. Here's what it said about me:

You are a Volkswagen Beetle

You are an idealist. You believe that everyone has a fundamental right to opportunity, education, shelter, nutrition, and marijuana. You almost certainly consider yourself to be politically progressive, although you are usually off the grid around election time. It's cool; the rest of us here at the commune will do your composting chores for you while you go monitor the elections in Ulan Bator.
What icon of industrial design are you?

  1. I'm a Coca-Cola Bottle

"You enjoy creature comforts and familiarity, and you are loyal to a fault. You sometimes pine for a simpler time and a slower pace. While you don't take an inordinate amount of risks or try a lot of new things (other than that one time in the 1980s when you took up break dancing), that's part of what makes you lovable. You are the type of person other people have as their emergency contact - you're just that reliable."

Interesting test - thanks for sharing it.

    cheers, my2fish

  2. I'm a VW bug too. At least I have a canoe on the roof. I would have preferred to have a bicycle towing the canoe. ;^)

  3. I think I got the Coke bottle one time I took the test.

Panda, I have a friend who tows his Force 5 behind a bicycle. And he works for a green energy company - wind turbines and solar cells...

  4. As soon as I observed this internet site I went on reddit to share some of the love with them.
